Every Vital clean follows a written checklist. Here they are, word for word, so you know what to expect before we arrive.
Standard residential cleaning
Our Standard Residential Cleaning is designed to maintain a clean, fresh, and comfortable home. Available weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or one-time.
Bedrooms
- Dust ceiling fans
- Dust blinds
- Empty trash and replace liners
- Make beds and straighten pillows and blankets
- Dust furniture, picture frames, shelves, and décor items
- Lift and dust beneath accessible items
- Tidy and lightly organize toys and personal items
- Clean interior glass on sliding doors
- Sweep, vacuum, and/or mop floors, including closets
Bathrooms
- Empty trash and replace liners
- Spot wipe exterior cabinet surfaces
- Scrub and sanitize showers, bathtubs, sinks, and countertops
- Clean mirrors
- Polish fixtures and faucets
- Clean and sanitize toilets inside and out
- Sweep, vacuum, and/or mop floors
Kitchen
- Empty trash and replace liners
- Load dishwasher (if dirty dishes are present) or neatly stack dishes in sink
- Spot wipe exterior cabinet surfaces
- Clean and sanitize countertops
- Scrub and sanitize sinks
- Clean inside microwave
- Clean stovetop and grates
- Clean backsplash
- Clean and polish exterior appliance surfaces
- Disinfect and polish faucets

Residential deep cleaning
Our Deep Cleaning service includes everything listed in our Standard Residential Cleaning, plus the following detailed services:
- Remove buildup from exterior cabinet surfaces
- Wet wipe ceiling fans
- Clean window sills and tracks
- Clean sliding glass door tracks
- Wet wipe blinds
- Wet wipe baseboards
- Wipe reachable air vents
- Dust and wipe light fixtures
- Clean and sanitize light switch plates
- Spot wipe walls and doors
- Wipe door frames
- Dust and wipe wall décor, picture frames, and shelves
Please note: For safety and liability reasons, we do not move furniture.
Move-outs / move-ins
With a move out / move in we scrub everything:
- Inside and out of all cabinets and drawers
- Wet wipe and scrub baseboards
- Wet wipe window sills and blinds/shutters
- Window tracks and sliding glass door tracks
- Wipe all doors, walls and door frames
- Wet wipe ceiling fans
- Clean all cobwebs
- Degrease filters/exhaust fans in kitchen, and degrease any surfaces
- Degrease under the cabinets
- Clean air filter vents
- Light fixtures
- Disinfect and clean switch plates
- Sweep and/or mop all floors
- Refrigerator/freezer & oven
- Clean inside of dishwasher
- Clean inside and out of the washer & dryer
- Inside windows
- Front door inside & out

FAQs
Checklist questions
What is included in a standard clean vs. a deep clean?
A standard clean covers every room on a maintenance level: dusting, bathrooms and kitchen sanitized, beds made, trash out, floors done. A deep clean adds wet-wiped fans, blinds and baseboards, window sills and tracks, vents, light fixtures, switch plates, walls, doors and frames. Full room-by-room lists are on our What's Included page.
Do you move furniture?
For safety and liability reasons we do not move furniture, but we lift and dust beneath every accessible item.
What can I add to a cleaning?
Interior reachable windows, inside the refrigerator and freezer, inside the oven, inside the washer and dryer, laundry service, bed linen changes, excessive dishwashing, and other specialty requests subject to evaluation. Each is priced separately.
Do you bring your own supplies and equipment?
Yes. Our cleaners arrive with everything needed. If you have a preferred product for a particular surface, leave it out and let us know.
